Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something

It was yesterday (30th March) , I had an opportunity to talk to my old friend Chandra. She sent me the following presentation, something to think. I watched the presentation and thought to blog something on this. Just have a look on the presentation...Rich and the poor
Do you know some Over 22,000 children die every day around the world ?1 billion children live in poverty (1 in 2 children in the world). 640 million live without adequate shelter, 400 million have no access to safe water, 270 million have no access to health services. 10.6 million died in 2003 before they reached the age of 5 (or roughly 29,000 children per day).Just to remind you my friends don't just enjoy the presentation, act if you can to make a difference..Edward Everett Hale, An American author as well as a  historian once said. "I am only one, but I am one.  I cannot do everything, but I can do something.  And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.."There is a nice article posted by our HOD after our visit to Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka..Just have a look..http://bobmckerrow.blogspot.com/2011/03/thavrani-poorest-of-poor.htmlalsohttp://bobmckerrow.blogspot.com/2011/03/agony-and-hope-sri-lanka.htmlThank you Chandra for sending me the presentation, and the credit goes to the person who forwarded this presentation to Chandra and for the person behind this.
